Ben is a Civil Engineer with over 16 years’ experience, working for both large and small engineering consultancies delivering complex Civil infrastructure schemes across the UK.

He has a passion for design and sustainability, particularly the design of Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS), seeking lean & efficient designs and helping to achieve attractive & functional spaces working in collaboration with multidisciplinary design teams. Ben also enjoys taking projects on at an early design stage, from project inception, to reduce risks for our customers and ensure the successful delivery of the project through planning, detailed design and construction stages.

He is experienced in securing both highway (S38, S278) and drainage section (S104,S106,S185) agreements and has delivered numerous successful SAB applications across Wales.

Laura Jones

Laura is a Chartered Civil Engineer (ICE) with over 15 years’ experience delivering successful project outcomes for a wide range of Clients and sectors.

She has managed an extensive portfolio of complex highways and drainage schemes from project inception, feasibility, detailed design, section agreements technical approvals through to construction stage.

A passionate advocate and expert in application of sustainable drainage (SUDs) and SAB approvals, Laura ensures that not only compliant solutions are achieved but that a commercially considered and a holistic approach to design is taken.

Senior Structural Associate

Kiron is a IStructE Chartered Structural Engineer with more than 10 years’ experience in designing a diverse range of projects through all the RIBA Design Stages from concept/scheme design, spatial coordination and detailed technical; design and on-site supervision during construction.

He has delivered multiple major new build and refurbishment projects of varying scale, across a broad range of sectors including education, residential, healthcare, commercial and industrial buildings and infrastructure developments for both private and public sector customers across the UK.

He has excellent design and technical knowledge of the current Eurocodes and other design codes and good building practice, as well as understanding of different cost-effective construction methods, consistently delivering the very best structural solutions specific for each project in collaboration with the design team. His designs are innovative, contractor friendly, cost-effective and always utilities best practice.

James Burgon

Director

James is a CEng MICE Chartered Engineer with significant experience across many sectors including Education, Healthcare, Commercial, Defence and Heritage to name a few. During his career he has worked across Wales, the UK and Internationally, leading teams to deliver complex schemes. James has been a multidiscipline project lead and manager for a number of years and therefore, understands the true value of design collaboration and coordination to achieve and deliver a successful project.

With a collaborative approach to all projects James believes in high levels of communication and open discussions to develop designs from early concepts through to construction.  His passion lies in the built environment and the legacy it leaves for generations to come and the benefit to local communities. The environmental impact of all schemes is at the upmost importance and understanding how our choices now, affect the future of the world we live in.

James has extensive experience in back analysis of existing buildings for reuse, repurpose and refurbishment and where not possible will implement low embodied carbon and sustainable material options for new builds.

Having worked in the Engineering Consultancy sector for over 30 years as a Practice Secretary, Trish has a wealth of experience relating to all matters associated with running a busy, commercial practice including development and practical application of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certifications and obtaining the Investors in People standard.

A Fellow of the Association for Accounting Technicians for over 15 years, Trish undertakes an array of financial responsibilities ranging from monthly management reports to credit control.

As an Associate Member of the Institute of Personnel and Development for over 10 years Trish ensures that good HR practice and processes are core to our organisational values from the top down.
