Cambria attend CEW Awards 2017

July 17th, 2017

Cambria were once again delighted to attend the CEW Awards on 7 July 2017, held at the Celtic Manor and hosted by Jason Mohammad.

In 2016, we were there as one of the nominees for SME of the year – which we were ecstatic about winning.  This year we were there as part of the Bouygues (BYUK) design team up for Project of the Year – Buildings – for Ysgol Bae Baglan.

The atmosphere on the night was electric with almost 600 members of the Welsh construction community in attendance applauding the 18 winners and highly commended organisations and projects across the 15 categories.

The design team for the project were thrilled when it was announced that Ysgol Bae Baglan had won the category. This was a great project to be part of is reflected by the many accolades it has won including the Local Authority Building Control (LABC) Cymru Building Excellence Awards 2017 ceremony, held at The Vale Resort, Vale of Glamorgan on Friday 21st April for both “Best Educational Building” and “Best Accessible Building” categories to name but a few.
