At Cambria, quality isn’t something we switch on for an annual assessment – it’s something we build into everything we do, every day. Our internal checks, reviews, audits and reporting run throughout the year to make sure our work consistently reflects the standards we stand by.
As part of this ongoing focus, we recently completed our annual NQA Surveillance Audit, and we’re pleased to say we’ve passed for another year with flying colours.

What We Do All Year Round
While the external audit undertaken by NQA assessors is important, it’s only one part of the picture.
Behind the scenes, our team carries out regular internal audits and checks across all areas of the business. This helps us:
- Keep our processes consistent and up to date
- Spot issues early and fix them before they become problems
- Make sure our designs, calculations, and documentation remain accurate
- Continuously improve the way we work
- Maintain the high level of service our partners expect from us.
This ongoing cycle of monitoring and improvement means we are always ready for audit season, not scrambling for it.
About the NQA Surveillance Audit
The annual Surveillance Audit is essentially a health check on our management systems. It looks at how well we continue to meet key standards across quality, environmental management, and health & safety.
This year’s audit ended up taking place remotely at short notice, but thanks to the consistent work our team puts in all year, everything ran smoothly. All evidence and documentation were provided quickly and accurately, and we achieved a successful result once again.
We would like to thank Simon Aubrey-Smith and Andy Codd for carrying out the audit. As always, the process was thorough and constructive. It’s great to see our systems performing well, and that’s down to the hard work our team puts in day to day.
