Trish becomes a member of the ICE!

October 1st, 2018

Upon a successful application result, earlier in the month our Practice Secretary, Trish met with Keith Jones Director of the ICE Wales for a coffee to thank him for recommending she should apply and become an Associate Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers.  This grade of membership is all about access to the people, the thinking and the huge resources of a world class engineering institution.  Associate membership is for professionals working in the built environment for 5 or more years who want to improve their knowledge and develop new ways of delivering the infrastructure of the future.  Having worked in an Administrative Management role for over 20 years in the Consulting Engineering sector and sitting on numerous construction related committees, Trish was perfect for this grade.  Trish commented ‘I still have a huge passion for Construction and the varied employment and networking opportunities it provides. I am excited about the journey ahead assisting my colleagues and business associates in promoting not only the company we work for but for our industry in general to inspire the next generation as well as encouraging greater diversity and gender balance’.
