Last week, members of the Cambria team and special guests came together to celebrate Beaujolais Day. Taking place on the third Thursday of November, Beaujolais Day marks the release of the first bottles of Beaujolais nouveau wine – and is a particular highlight in the Cardiff social calendar.
This year, the celebrations took place at the Cardiff Marriott, and were organised by the Events Room. The host was popular comedian Jed Stone.

As well as a typically French menu, highlights of the day included live entertainment from vocalist Cole Page, a charitable raffle and an auction. The Cambria table remained in a celebratory mood throughout – and were the only ones to keep their berets on all day!
Director Gary Mitchell said, “What a fantastic Beaujolais Day – thank you to our guests for being such good sports, to the brilliant Events Room, who nailed it as usual, and the world’s loveliest photographer, Paul Fears. We will be back next year – if allowed!”
