We’re delighted to have a new member on our Civil Engineering team here at Cambria Consulting: Neil Carlick.
Neil (left) has joined the business as Infrastructure Associate, and brings with him a wealth of experience having worked in the civil engineering industry for the past twenty years.

Alongside studying for his degree at the University South Wales, Neil worked in-house with Bay Associates (now incorporated into the HLN Group) from 2004 – 2009, and after graduating began his career as a full time Civil Engineer with the company. During his time at Bay Associates, Neil worked on a diverse range of projects, from education facilities to leisure and retail developments.
Neil subsequently worked as Senior Engineer for Pheonix Design Partnership from 2015 to 2024, where he specialised in residential developments, working with the nation’s biggest private house builders such as Persimmon Homes, Redrow, Barratt Homes and Bellway as well as various Housing Associations.
Neil’s areas of expertise include highways design, suds and drainage design as well as section agreements such as Section 38 & 278 highway agreements, and Section 104,106 and 185 Drainage Agreements.
On taking on his new role, Neil said: “I’m delighted to be joining the team here at Cambria, and am very much looking forward to working on the diverse range of projects and sectors that the company works within. Everyone has been incredibly welcoming so far and I’m excited to further develop my career during my time here, and hopefully work towards a more senior role within the consultancy.”
Cambria Director Gary Mitchell added: “We’re thrilled to have somebody with Neil’s experience and expertise coming on board here at Cambria. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge that I’m sure will be invaluable to the business, and I’m looking forward to seeing where the next few months take him.”
