We are thrilled that our Gabby McDermott, has successfully completed the IEMA Pathways to Net Zero course with TSW Training. This online course took place over 2 days at the end of July and provided attendees with a comprehensive understanding of net zero, its distinction from carbon neutrality and the ability to create and carry out a decarbonisation plan.
During the first day, participants engaged in interactive sessions where they explored the fundamentals of net zero and discussed the various steps that both companies and the government can take to comply with the upcoming Carbon Neutrality target by 2050. These group discussions fostered valuable insights and ideas for addressing this critical environmental issue.
On the second day, the knowledge acquired on day one was put into action as participants learned how to collect data, develop a decarbonisation plan and apply it across the value chain.
With Gabby’s successful completion of this course, Cambria, as an ISO 14001 accredited organisation, is now equipped with the knowledge and understanding needed to set targets and fulfil our commitment to environmental sustainability and play our part in achieving net-zero.
