We provide our Clients with the required Transport Assessment and Travel Plan reports in support of their Planning Applications and then follow through with the design and detailing of the required highway works.

Most new developments generate more traffic in the local road network. Therefore to secure a Planning Approval a Transport Assessment (TA) needs to be submitted to demonstrate to the satisfaction of the Highway Authority that any additional traffic will not create congestion on the local highway network. A Travel Plan (TP) is also required which encourages the end users to adopt sustainable modes of transport to get them to and from their destination. These are key documents in securing Planning Permission and a TA that is of a high standard will help minimise the need for costly off-site highway improvement works and also help address the fears of many of the objectors to the application. We are therefore able to help secure the most cost effective highway solution to secure Planning Approval and are still there to deliver that solution on site – we remain responsible from inception to completion
