This June, people from across the UK and further afield are coming together to tackle the Welsh Three Peaks in support of children’s charity Tŷ Hafan – and the Cambria team are among those rising to the challenge.
As Tŷ Hafan is Cambria’s chosen charity for 2025, the mountainous challenge certainly peaked our interest, and we thought it was only right that we should get involved. So, a brave selection of Cambria staff are taking on the trek’s many ups and downs.
Taking place on 7th June, the Welsh Three Peaks trek begins in North Wales. Facing Wales’ tallest mountain first, the Cambria team will climb Yr Wyddfa (Snowdonia), then Cadair Idris and finally Pen y Fan, walking a total of 20.35 miles – and climbing a huge 9,397ft (2,864m) in a single day.
Some of the team are more nervous than others – but all are taking on the challenge for an extremely good cause. All donations are gratefully received and will go directly towards Tŷ Hafan and the essential support the charity offers. You can donate here.
