We are delighted that Cambria Consulting has achieved a major cyber security milestone this month after achieving its Cyber Essentials accreditation.
Run by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), Cyber Essentials is a UK Government and industry-backed scheme which helps organisations of any size to protect themselves against the threat of cyber-attacks.
Achieving this accreditation demonstrates that an organisation is protecting itself by implementing the most important cyber security controls. A team of experts review the scheme at regular intervals to ensure it stays effective in the ever-evolving digital landscape.
The UK Government reports that 7.7million cyber-crimes were experienced by businesses over the past year, which is around half of all companies in the UK, and as such there has never been a more important time for us to prioritise our and our clients’ digital safety.
Cambria has recently invested in several enhancements to our IT infrastructure, hardware and software to enhance the cyber security standards throughout the business required to achieve this accreditation.
Cambria Director Gary Mitchell said on the news: “We’re thrilled that we’ve been able to achieve our Cyber Essentials accreditation, as it’s vital for the Cambria team to remain as robust and as secure as we can be.”
“This demonstrates just how vigilant the business is not only when it comes to our own cyber security, but also to the organisations and individuals that place their trust in us. The project partners and companies that we work with can now feel even more reassured that their data is safe with Cambria and that we are committed to safeguarding the information we are responsible for at all times.”
