On Friday, 4th July, the Cambria team enjoyed a day of sunshine – and fierce competition – as we once again took part in the annual Kier Cricket Tournament.
Held at the St Fagans Cricket club, the tournament featured eight teams from the construction industry including Architects, Consultants, Civil Engineers, Structural Engineers and more.
In-between rounds, everyone enjoyed a buffet lunch, drinks from the bar, and later in the afternoon, a hog roast.
A Cambria win would have made the day complete – but ultimately our team came in second place, missing out on the winner’s trophy by just 12 points. Kier were crowned this year’s champions.
Overall it was a great day spent with industry friends, and we are already looking forward to the next tournament – where we aim to take that first place trophy home.
