Recently the Cambria team took a visit to SCALE on the roof of the Principality Stadium, where James Burgon and James Spencer braved the heights to enjoy fantastic views across Cardiff while conducting a visual survey.
Each year, Cambria conducts an annual survey cycle at the Principality Stadium for the Welsh Rugby Union, monitoring the condition of the steelwork to the stadium as a whole. This year, in addition to the wider stadium surveys, an additional visual survey to the SCALE Attraction has been completed.
Having opened in 2024, SCALE is a rooftop attraction allowing visitors to experience the Principality stadium in a new way: from above. It features a zipwire running parallel to the stadium’s open roof, as well as the option to abseil 30 metres from the top of the stadium.
With the visual survey now complete, the wider stadium surveys remain to be completed in August.
